Meraki Network Infrastructure & Site Connectivity

Reference Connectivity Kramer Gastronomie SPIE ICS

Network Modernisation and Central Management Interface

Due to an outdated and heterogeneous network infrastructure distributed across multiple sites, Kramer Gastronomie AG needed to update its entire environment to a modern standard with centralised management. SPIE ICS was commissioned to design, install and maintain a new solution that ensures both cybersecurity and efficient, user-friendly administration.

The Challenge

The existing network infrastructure no longer met Kramer Gastronomie’s security requirements and was no longer able to meet current or future needs. As Kramer Gastronomie places great value on continuous and high-quality service in its restaurants and event venues, the new network infrastructure had to be installed during ongoing daily operations. Any disruption to operations caused by the migration therefore had to be strictly avoided at the sites. In addition, there were high expectations regarding centralised management and the user-friendliness of the new infrastructure.

A Modern Solution with Precise Migration

SPIE ICS implemented a comprehensive modernisation for Kramer Gastronomie using Meraki switching, wireless and security, all centrally managed via the Cloud Management Dashboard. This solution enables each location to enjoy a standardised and scalable network environment. The intuitive management interface simplifies network administration and boosts cybersecurity and overall efficiency at the sites.

“The modernisation of our network infrastructure was a strategically important project for us. SPIE ICS impressed us with their expertise, professional implementation and targeted project planning. As a result, the migration at all sites was achieved without any impact on our day-to-day business.
Today, we benefit from centrally managed network infrastructure, which has considerably reduced our administrative workload and provides the stability and flexibility we need to meet future requirements.”
