nstallation of Signage and a Video Management System on Highway Gantries
Description of Services
As part of the infrastructure improvement of national road N01 between Vengeron and Nyon, the consortium SPIE MTS SA and SWARCO carried out a complete installation of signage on highway gantries, as well as an advanced video management system. These installations aim to modernize and secure road traffic through 34 new gantries, contributing to dynamic traffic regulation and enhanced monitoring.
The services provided include:
- Dynamic signage: Supply, installation, and commissioning of speed and warning signs. These signs are mounted on gantries with a secure fastening system to the crossbeams, ensuring clear and dynamic information for road users.
- Traffic sensors: Installation of traffic sensors enabling real-time data collection on traffic flow. These sensors, also mounted on the gantry crossbeams, ensure proactive traffic management to reduce congestion and improve safety.
- Video cameras: Supply, installation, and commissioning of video surveillance cameras. The cameras are mounted on the gantry crossbeams and provide continuous monitoring of the road, thereby enhancing safety and facilitating rapid intervention in the event of an incident.
- Cabling: Complete installation of the cabling required for power supply, network data transmission, and grounding of the devices. The cables connect the equipment installed on the gantry crossbeams to the field cabinet, ensuring a reliable and secure connection for the entire system.
- AS-VTV (Video Supervision Cabinet): Supply, installation, and commissioning of a cabinet equipped with a human-machine interface (HMI) for viewing images captured by the cameras. This system enables real-time monitoring and efficient management of road incidents.
- System modeling and implementation: Design and integration of the entire system, including dynamic signage, traffic sensors, and video cameras. This model ensures optimal, centralized management of the equipment for improved traffic flow and safety on the road.
