SPIE Switzerland appoints Christian Villar as Managing Director of SPIE MTS
Satigny, 1 October 2026 – SPIE Switzerland announces the appointment of Christian Villar as Managing Director of SPIE MTS. He officially takes up his position on 1 October 2026 and succeeds Roberto Patera. Christian Villar will also become a member of the Executive Board of SPIE Switzerland. In this role, he will be responsible for continuing the development of SPIE MTS activities and strengthening its position in the Swiss market.
With more than twenty years of experience in building automation, technology infrastructure and the management of multidisciplinary teams, Christian Villar brings a strong leadership background and in-depth knowledge of the Swiss market. Throughout his career, he has held several management positions combining technological expertise, business development and operational responsibility.
His career has led him to manage complex projects, develop new business activities and support the transformation of infrastructure through innovative solutions addressing performance, energy efficiency and sustainability challenges.
