SPIE takes over Arktis AG technical service contracts

23.06.2022

SPIE Switzerland, the Swiss subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has taken over all the technical service contracts of Arktis AG, a provider of unified communication and collaboration solutions in Switzerland, as of 1 July.

SPIE takes over Arktis AG technical service contracts

Based in Schlieren and Sarnen, Arktis AG provides unified communication and collaboration solutions to its customers, mainly from the healthcare sector. Founded in 2008, the company recently decided to fully outsource its technical service business, with the ambition to offer its current and future customers added value based on the development and resale of solutions. This change in strategy fits perfectly with the expertise of SPIE Switzerland, which was therefore chosen to take over the existing maintenance and technical service contracts.

SPIE Switzerland offers both a wider range of services and a higher level of service - all using the latest technology. The service centre of SPIE ICS AG, a subsidiary of SPIE Switzerland, will provide customers with a wide range of services and ensure round-the-clock operation of their unified communication and collaboration solutions. These services will range from information support to the deployment of a complete cloud solution, including outsourcing. Thanks to its many experts and their know-how, SPIE Switzerland is able to meet its customers' requirements. Arktis AG's service and maintenance staff will join the SPIE team.

"We are delighted to be able to meet the expectations of Arktis' existing customers with our IT skills and services," says Pierre Savoy, Managing Director of SPIE Switzerland. "Customers will not only benefit from our dedicated resources, but also from the long-standing expertise of the Arktis employees joining us," he continues.

"SPIE combines the advantages of a locally based company with those of a successful European group," explains David Jäggi, CEO & OPS Manager of Arktis AG. He continues: "The world of information and communication technology is becoming increasingly important for companies. The IT landscape is changing rapidly and becoming increasingly complex. SPIE is the ideal partner to seize the opportunities offered by all technological innovations, thanks to its expertise in all areas of IT.

SPIE will take over the contractual elements from 1 July 2022. Arktis AG's customers, partners and suppliers have already been informed personally or in writing. It has been agreed not to disclose any further details.
