Bern, 8 July 2025 – SPIE Switzerland, a subsidiary of the SPIE group, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, introduces ASKIA, an innovative AI chatbot. ASKIA came about through the successful integration of Corporate Software AG in Switzerland and provides efficient and intuitive support to Swiss companies with regard to internal processes and communication. As the first digital point of contact, it offers quick and targeted access to relevant company information.
ASKIA stands for "ASK, KI, AI" and represents the primary function of the chatbot, namely providing an opportunity to pose questions to artificial intelligence (AI). The AI chatbot uses GPT-4o technology and is specially designed to provide information securely and efficiently as part of a typical working day. Two different modes are used for this purpose, Company GPT for internal queries and Global GPT for general use. ASKIA accesses internal knowledge databases and documents and summarises the relevant
information for the user, thereby significantly reducing the time spent searching through company information.
An overview of the key advantages:
  • User-friendliness: ASKIA offers an intuitive user interface and supports several languages including German, French and English.
  • Easy integration: it takes just a few hours to seamlessly integrate ASKIA into existing IT infrastructure.
  • Data security: ASKIA is operated entirely in a Swiss Azure data centre, which guarantees compliance with the most stringent data-protection standards.
"ASKIA is revolutionising the way we access internal information and promoting the efficiency and digital transformation of companies through state-of-the-art technology and the most stringent security standards," explains Pierre Savoy, CEO of SPIE Switzerland.
