SPIE Expands Management Team in Switzerland: Jure Karadza has joined the Executive Board.

  • Effective January 1, 2026, SPIE Switzerland has appointed Jure Karadza, CEO of SD Fiber AG, as a new member of the Executive Board.  
  • Through SD Fiber, which has been part of SPIE since July 2025, SPIE Switzerland is strengthening its expertise and market position in fiber optics and FTTx businesses in Switzerland and southern Germany.   
  • In his new role, Karadza will expand FTTx activities and integrate SD Fiber's services into the SPIE Switzerland portfolio.  
 
SPIE, the independent European market leader in multi-technical services in the fields of energy and communications, appointed Jure Karadza, the CEO of SD Fiber AG, to the SPIE Switzerland Executive Board, effective January 1, 2026. This move specifically strengthens SPIE's position in the fiber optic market in Switzerland and southern Germany.
 
Karadza will particularly focus on expanding FTTx activities and integrating SD Fiber's services into the SPIE Switzerland portfolio. He will significantly contribute to strengthening SPIE's position in the forward-looking fiber optic market. " 
 
Jure Karadza has been the CEO of SD Fiber since 2018, developing the company into one of the leading providers of fiber optic networks in Switzerland and Germany. “By integrating SD Fiber into SPIE Switzerland, we are establishing a robust foundation for growth in the fiber optic and data infrastructure market. Our goal is to scale our technological expertise in a targeted manner and provide more comprehensive support to customers in Switzerland and southern Germany," Karadza says.  
 
Headquartered in Dietikon (ZH), SD Fiber has been part of SPIE since July 2025. SD Fiber is one of the leading providers for expanding fiber optic networks to streets (FTTS), buildings (FTTB), and homes (FTTH). The company is also a specialist in installing and maintaining smart meters in Switzerland and Germany. SD Fiber employs around 340 people and generated sales of approximately 66 million Swiss francs in 2024.
