Edgar Lehrmann appointed as new Chief Financial Officer of SPIE Switzerland

SPIE Switzerland, a subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, has appointed Edgar Lehrmann to the position of Chief Financial Officer effective on October 1st, 2019. He succeeds Michael Suderow and will therefore also be a member of the Executive Board of SPIE Switzerland.

Edgar Lehrmann, 49 years-old, studied business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University, in Munich. He worked for seven years at the Global Management Consulting Firm A.T. Kearney in Düsseldorf and Munich as a consultant in various industrial and banking sectors.

In 2003, he joined ATEL, in Switzerland, where he first headed the Credit and Business Risk Management department. Shortly after, he was entrusted with setting up the Shared Service Centers for the Group’s key operational finance and support functions of the Group in the Czech Republic.

Since 2011, Edgar Lehrmann has held various management positions in Alpiq's finance division, most recently as Head of Group Accounting & Controlling and Deputy CFO, where, in addition to his operational responsibilities, he has also contributed to the development of strategic projects for the Group’s repositioning.
